河南医科大学77级临床医学本科，1982年毕业。曾在华盛顿乔治城大学，杜克大学科研。东卡罗来纳大学儿科住院医生，北卡罗来纳大学儿科内分泌专业培训（Fellowship）。现为密苏里大学-堪萨斯医学院，MERCY儿童医院儿科/内分泌助理教授。为美国儿科协会，儿科内分泌学会，内分泌学会，美国糖尿病协会，中西部儿科研究学会会员。多次获得国内外儿科研究及临床奖，发表临床医学及科研论文多篇，及国内外学术会议宣读论文，并担任多种儿科杂志审编。
