1995年毕业于中山医学院本科，在福州医学院二院肿瘤外科工作两年，然后到日本做心内科研究。1999年在德州大学西南医学中心师从诺贝尔获奖者Brown & Goldstein 从事脂质代谢研究，2005-07年成为内科住院医生，毕业后在华盛顿大学（圣路易斯）完成心内科专科培训。2013年至今在华盛顿大学工作，现任圣路易斯荣军医学中心非介入心内科主任，专攻心脏影像学。发表科研论文多篇并在国内国际学术会议上宣读论文。
