1985年毕业于滨州医学院医疗系。出国前为山东大学齐鲁医院老年病科医师。曾先后获日本川医学奖学金及日本科技厅（STA） 研究员奖，分别去日本大分医科大学从事临床药理及治疗学及在日本国立循环病中心（大阪）病因部从事细胞分子遗传学研究。2001年赴美，先后在美国加州大学Riverside Campus及费城Thomas Jefferson University从事心血管病生物医学及转化医学研究。主持过数项中国国家自然科学基金及美国心脏病协会资助的课题研究，于国际专业杂志发表了数十篇研究论文。2006-2009年在耶鲁大学Greenwich Hospital完成内科住院医师培训，2014于University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill完成普通及介入心脏病学专科培训。现就职于University of North Carolina Health Care Caldwell Memorial Hospital，从事普通及介入心脏病诊疗。专业认证：美国内科, 心血管病，介入心脏病，血管映像诊断注册医师， 美国诊断医学超声注册库(ARDMS).
